Junior Kindergarten News from Miss Jones

December is a special time in Junior Kindergarten, as we await the birthday of Jesus. The children are so excited for Christmas. They can hardly wait.

Each day in the gym, we will listen to Sixth Grade explain a symbol on the Jesse Tree. In our classroom, we have a flannel Advent Calendar. Each day a child will put a piece of the Christmas Story on the Advent Calendar.

Our letter is “C.” Our pattern is “AB.” We are reviewing all the skills we have been working on in the classroom. Plus, Junior Kindergarten will complete their first Community Service Project. It is called the Mitten Tree.  More information will follow about this project.
